Thank you for a unique Cederberg experience. We spent a peaceful weekend knowing that the whole reserve was ours to enjoy exclusively. We just loved the authenticity of Bakkrans, especially since it is without the usual hi-tech facilities found everywhere else. Please don’t change this formula! Thank you for letting us visit this very special place. We’re hoping to return soon.

The food was sublime and sitting around a fire listening to Justin's stories was the cherry on the top. The beautiful Cedarberg setting and hiking trails makes this a wonderful escape. A beautiful farm stay. Spectacular wilderness (the rock formations!!). The iconic hike up Wolfberg. And Justin’s company around the fire & in his veggie garden. Some places are memorable because of the scenery. Others because of the people. Others the food & wine. This one had the whole works! I've never been there but I've just watched a video where Matt Dubber was stranded in the Cederberg and Luca, the chef, went out of his way to get him un-stranded. Outstanding weekend spent with Justin & his fantastic team to be introduced to the Cederberg region. I climbed Wolf Arch, rock art viewing, superb venue w natural pools and the food OMG 👌🏻. Great weekend and will return
